Avenues for Justice is currently accepting applications for a Social Media and Data Assistant.
The Social Media & Data Assistant manages our social media accounts and website and assists with data collection. Person will also have marketing and events responsibilities.
Social Media Responsibilities:
Implement and execute organization’s social media strategy, which includes managing and updating Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Pitch new ideas for content across these platforms and execute social media projects. Regularly update website with new content, events, and photo galleries.
Assist with marketing marquee events such as annual gala. Responsible for updating website with event information and assisting with other event needs such as organizing photos and creating PowerPoint presentations. Will be asked to write participant and graduate profiles. Responsible for quarterly newsletter.
Will use Salesforce and Virtual Response to support development team, track, analyze and cultivate new donors from online (Network for Good) donations.
Data Collection Responsibilities:
Facilitate monthly internal data collection process with Court Advocates. Must have familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Assist with data projects needed for annual reports.
A bachelor's degree is required. Professional experience managing social media preferred, or please include description of previous experience working on long term social media projects and campaigns for an organization or in an institutional capacity in your cover letter.
